According to the Cincinnati Bengals Blog, running back Cedric Benson, defensive tackle Domata Peko, defensive end Robert Geathers and safety Chris Crocker practiced on Tuesday, when the Bengals worked out indoors at Wall2Wall Soccer Complex in Mason because of the frosty weather.
Peko, who has missed the past five games because of a knee injury, said he feels healthy and is eager to get back on the field.
"It's feeling so great right now, like nothing ever happened," Peko said. "I feel confident in myself and I can't wait to get back out there. My guys missed me, and I missed them. We're ready to rock."
Crocker, who has missed the past three games due to an injured ankle, said he doesn't expect the layoff to affect his play.
"I've been in meetings, I've paid attention to what's going on," he said. "I think I'm savvy enough to catch up where I left off. There's not much that we change, it's the same calls. I'll be ready."
Running back Larry Johnson, defensive tackle Tank Johnson and free safety Tom Nelson were in street clothes and did not practice. Wide receiver Chad Ochocinco appeared to be moving normally without favoring his left knee, which was injured before Sunday's game against the Jets and caused him to leave the game early.

Update: According to the Twitter page of Minnesota Vikings beat writer Sean Jensen, Vikings coach Brad Childress said Sidney Rice missed practice again Thursday because he is sick. Vikings WR Percy Harvin also rested as he recovers from the migraine headaches that kept him sidelined last weekend.
Fantasy Impact: Rice and Harvin are dealing with unrelated illnesses. Hopefully, QB Brett Favre will have them back for Sunday's game at Carolina. WR Bernard Berrian could be in line for more looks if this situation does not improve.

Update: David Moore of DallasNews.com reports that Cowboys QB Tony Romo is looking forward to playing the undefeated New Orleans Saints in the NFL's first Saturday night game this season. "Obviously, it's a great challenge,'' Romo said. "Everyone knows that. It's a good football team we're going against. But we're not walking in there thinking this is their homecoming, either. We think this will be a game we go out and compete in and if we play to the best of our abilities, we think we have a chance." What would it feel like to beat an undefeated team? "Well,'' Romo pointed out, "we did it a few years back against Indianapolis.''
Fantasy Impact: This game is expected to be an offensive shootout with Romo and Saints QB Drew Brees throwing the ball all over the field. The Saints have the best turnover margin in the NFL and welcome the erratic Romo to what will no doubt be a rocking Superdome Saturday night. But Romo has a lot to prove and he has the ability to silence his critics and the raucous New Orleans crowd on a national stage. Consider Romo a solid #1 QB as the Cowboys will be forced to put up a bundle of points to stay with the explosive Saints offense.

Update: Profootballtalk.com's Mike Florio is reporting that the Oakland Raiders have agreed to terms with free agent QB J.P. Losman. It is believed that the Colts also showed interest in the UFL star because Jim Sorgi went down.
Fantasy Impact: Raiders head coach Tom Cable appears to have given up on JaMarcus Russell, so if Bruce Gradkowski is unable to go, it might not be out of the question to see Losman get some game action.

Update: The AP is reporting that the Cleveland Browns have revealed that they are seriously considering utilizing return specialist Joshua Cribbs as a full time tailback. Cribbs has seen time out of the wildcat formation, and has produced.
Fantasy Impact: The Browns have Jerome Harrison and Chris Jennings in the mix, but throwing Cribbs out there as a tailback would surely make things interesting. Head coach Eric Mangini is willing to do anything to save his job at this point.
